Why Study Criminal Justice at Seton Hill?

Police Training Track

作为澳门金沙博彩娱乐平台刑事司法专业的学生, 在你获得学士学位的同时，你也有独特的机会接受城市警察的基础培训——这是第120号法案对所有城市警察的要求. 

通过与威斯特摩兰县社区学院(WCCC)的合作, 西顿希尔刑事司法专业可以 考虑接受在WCCC举办的市警察教育培训委员会基础培训课程. As a Seton Hill criminal justice major, 你可以在大二或大三的时候进入澳门金沙博彩娱乐平台的基础训练项目. 

有兴趣的学生需要在申请WCCC基础培训计划之前获得西顿希尔刑事司法项目主任的许可. 基础培训课程可以全日制(约6个月)或非全日制(约10个月)完成. 该课程将计入西顿希尔大学最多18个学分.

成功完成MPOETC(完成学院学习并通过认证考试), 你将有资格获得认证，当你被市政警察部门雇用时，你将获得认证. 

Faculty

澳门金沙博彩娱乐平台的刑事司法教师是法医学领域的著名教授和经验丰富的专业人士, psychology, criminology, sociology and human services. 特定专业知识的主题包括DNA分析, jury decision making, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic and gender-based violence, recidivism in the juvenile court system, research design and data analysis.

Crime Scene House
